Here is part of chapter 1, word for word, as printed on page 12.
Chapter 1 · What can I bring on board on embarkation day?
How it works
- Start with your health papers. Holland America asks that if you have a chronic medical condition, you bring a recent report from your physician. Carnival suggests a copy of your medical record, with recent specialist reports and test results. The CDC Yellow Book says travelers with medical conditions should carry a paper or digital file with key facts such as allergies, blood type, chronic conditions, a medicine list and their doctors’ contact details.
- Pack all your medicine and keep it close. Holland America says to keep medication in your purse or carry-on bag and to bring enough for the whole cruise. The CDC adds that over-the-counter medicines tend to cost more on the ship, so consider packing your own, along with test kits for COVID-19 and influenza.
…and 7 more steps in the guide.
